Countdown Pro Pro

How to set up and style the Countdown Pro widget in Elementor.

Countdown Pro counts down to a fixed date, gives each visitor their own evergreen timer, or repeats every day or week at a set time. It comes in six looks and can show a message, hide itself or send visitors to another page when it ends. Use it for sales, launches and daily order cut-off times.

Part of: Bright Addons Pro.

Set it up

  1. Add the Countdown Pro widget to your page.

  2. In Timer, pick the Type. Set Ends On for a fixed date, Hours and Minutes for an evergreen timer, or Ends Every Day At and On These Days for a recurring one.

  3. In Display, choose the Style and switch the units you need on or off with Show Days, Show Hours, Show Minutes and Show Seconds.

  4. Set Labels, Separator and Leading Zeros (05), and turn on Progress Bar if you want one.

  5. In When the Timer Ends, pick the Action and fill in the Message or Page Link.

  6. Adjust alignment, colors and sizes in the Style tab.

Tips

  • An evergreen timer is saved in the visitor's browser, so it starts fresh on another device or after browser data is cleared.

  • For a fixed date the progress bar only fills when Started On is set to a time before Ends On.

  • A recurring timer never runs the end action. It moves straight on to the next deadline.

  • In the editor the end actions do not run, so the timer stays visible while you design.

Questions and answers

Which time zone does the timer use?

Fixed and recurring timers use your site time zone from Settings, General, so every visitor counts down to the same moment.

What happens if I hide the days unit?

The first unit shown holds all the remaining time, so hours can go above 24.

Can I hide the offer section when the timer ends?

Yes. Give the section a CSS ID in the Advanced tab and enter it in Also Hide These Elements, for example #offer-section.

Does changing the evergreen length restart timers?

Yes. The saved start time is tied to the timer length, so a new length starts a new timer for every visitor.
