Tilt Card Pro

How to set up and style the Tilt Card widget in Elementor.

Tilt Card is an image card that leans towards the pointer in 3D, with a moving light reflection and text that floats above the image. It holds a badge, title, text and a button, and the whole card can be a link. Use it for featured products, portfolio pieces and calls to action.

Part of: Bright Addons Pro.

Set it up

  1. Drag Tilt Card onto the page and choose the Image.

  2. Type the Badge, Title and Text.

  3. Set the Button Text and Button Link, and switch on Whole Card Is the Link if the card itself should be clickable.

  4. Choose the Text Position and Text Alignment.

  5. In Tilt Effect, set Strongest Tilt (degrees), Depth (px), Grow on Hover (percent) and Text Floats Above the Image (px).

  6. Switch Light Reflection and Zoom Image on Hover on or off.

  7. Set the card height, shade and text styles in the Style tab.

Title The card title.
Title HTML Tag The heading tag used for the title.

Whole Card Is the Link Makes the entire card clickable using the Button Link.

Tilt Effect

Option What it does
Strongest Tilt (degrees) How far the card leans at the edges, from 0 to 35.
Depth (px) The 3D depth. Smaller numbers look more dramatic.
Grow on Hover (percent) How much the card grows while the pointer is over it.
Text Floats Above the Image (px) How far the text lifts off the image. 0 keeps the text flat on the card.
Light Reflection Adds a light reflection that follows the pointer.

Style options

These sections are in the Style tab.

  • Card

height, widest size, border, shadow, radius and padding, Image Shade color, Shade Style and Reflection Color.

  • Text

typography, color and margin of the badge, title and text, plus the badge background.

  • Button

typography, colors, background, border, shadow and hover state of the button.

Tips

  • The tilt follows a mouse or pen. Touch is ignored so the card does not wobble while a visitor scrolls on a phone.

  • Visitors who prefer reduced motion see the card without the tilt.

  • Whole Card Is the Link only works when Button Link has an address. The button then stays visible as a label for the card.

  • Setting Strongest Tilt (degrees) and Grow on Hover (percent) both to 0 switches the tilt off.

Questions and answers

Does the tilt work on phones?

No. The tilt reacts to a mouse or pen pointer. On touch screens the card shows as a normal image card with its text.

Can the whole card be clickable?

Yes. Add an address in Button Link and switch on Whole Card Is the Link.

How do I make the effect more subtle?

Lower Strongest Tilt (degrees), raise Depth (px), and reduce Grow on Hover (percent).

Can the light reflection be turned off?

Yes. Switch off Light Reflection. Its color can be changed with Reflection Color in the Style tab.
