Advanced Tabs Free

How to set up and style the Advanced Tabs widget in Elementor.

Advanced Tabs splits content into tabs, each with a title, an optional icon and a rich text panel. Use it to fit several related pieces of content into one space, in a horizontal or vertical layout.

Part of: Bright Addons (free).

Set it up

  1. Drag the Advanced Tabs widget onto the page.

  2. In Tabs, open each row in Items and set the Title, an optional Icon and the Content.

  3. Add more rows for more tabs and drag them into order.

  4. Choose a Layout: Horizontal or Vertical.

  5. For the horizontal layout, set Tabs Alignment. Justified stretches the tabs across the full width.

  6. Set Active Tab Number to the tab that should be open first.

  7. Open the Style tab to style the tab titles and the content panel.

Style options

These sections are in the Style tab.

  • Tab Titles

typography, padding, space between tabs, border radius, and text and background colors for normal and active tabs.

  • Content

text color, typography, background color, padding, border, border radius and box shadow of the panel.

Tips

  • If Active Tab Number is higher than the number of tabs, the last tab opens.

  • On screens narrower than 768 pixels the vertical layout stacks, with the tabs above the content.

  • Tab content is a text editor, so it holds text, links, lists and images. It does not hold other widgets or saved templates.

  • In the vertical layout, the up and down arrow keys move between tabs. In the horizontal layout, the left and right arrow keys do.
