Post Archive Pro

How to set up and style the Post Archive widget in Elementor.

Post Archive lists posts on blog, category, tag, author, date and search pages, using the posts WordPress already picked for that page, or any custom query. Choose from 10 layouts and add an archive header, a result count, a sort menu, search inside the archive, a term filter and any kind of pagination.

Part of: Bright Addons Pro.

Set it up

  1. Create an archive template, for example in Bright Addons Pro > Widgets > Templates and Integrations, Page Templates.

  2. Drag the Post Archive widget into the template and keep Posts on Current Query (archives and search).

  3. In Editor Preview, pick what to preview with while you design.

  4. In Layout, choose the Layout and Columns.

  5. In Post Card, pick the parts of the card and the Meta Line.

  6. Switch on the Archive Header and the toolbar items you want.

  7. Choose the Pagination Type, then style the cards.

  • Load more and infinite scroll fetch the next page link, so they work on any archive and keep working when JavaScript fails.

  • The sort menu and search inside the archive change the address, so visitors can share the exact list.

  • Password protected posts show no excerpt.
