Switch Widgets On or Off

Keep the Elementor panel short and load nothing you do not use.

Free plugin

  1. Go to Bright Addons in your dashboard menu.

  2. Switch off the widgets you do not use, or use Enable all and Disable all.

  3. Save your changes.

Pro plugin

  1. Go to Bright Addons Pro > Widgets. Free and Pro widgets are listed together, each with a FREE or PRO tag.

  2. Pick a category on the left, filter by Status (on or off) and Plan (free or Pro), or type in the search box. Press / anywhere on the page to jump to search.

  3. Or click a preset under Start from a preset to switch on the widgets a type of site usually needs.

  4. Click a widget card to open its details: a switch, where to find it in Elementor, and links to its guide and live demo.

  5. Open the Extensions tab to switch extensions on or off.

  6. Click Save changes. Discard undoes what you have not saved yet.

What switching off does

  • A widget that is switched off is not loaded at all: no PHP class, no CSS and no JavaScript.

  • It disappears from the Elementor panel.

  • If a page already uses that widget, the widget stops showing on that page until you switch it on again. Your settings for it are kept.

A warning about Display Conditions

If you switch off the Display Conditions extension, everything it was hiding becomes visible again. Switch it off only if no page depends on it.

Widgets that are switched on

You do not need to switch widgets off for speed. Every widget loads its CSS and JavaScript only on pages where it is used.
