Advanced Charts Pro

How to set up and style the Advanced Charts widget in Elementor.

Advanced Charts draws eight kinds of charts from values you type or CSV you paste. Charts animate when they scroll into view and show tooltips on hover. Use it for sales figures, survey results, statistics and reports.

Part of: Bright Addons Pro.

Set it up

  1. Drag the Advanced Charts widget onto the page.

  2. In the Chart and Data section, pick a Chart Type.

  3. Leave Data on Type the Values and enter the Labels, separated by commas.

  4. Under Datasets, give each dataset a Name, its Values (one number per label) and a Color.

  5. In the Options section, add a Title and choose where the Legend goes.

  6. Set Value Prefix or Value Suffix, then adjust the axis and shape settings for your chart type.

  7. Open the Style tab to set the chart height, box style and the text, grid and tooltip colors.

Dashed Line Draws this dataset with a dashed line.
Draw as a Line (mixed chart) In a vertical bar chart, shows this dataset as a line over the bars.

Style options

These sections are in the Style tab.

  • Box

chart height, background, border, shadow, radius and padding of the box, and the title typography, color and margin.

  • Chart Text and Lines

label and legend color and size, grid line color, tooltip background and text colors, slice border color, and the middle text color and size.

Tips

  • In typed values, commas separate the numbers. Write 1200, not 1,200, and let Thousand Separators (1,250) format the output.

  • Pasted CSV must use commas. Its datasets take their colors from the built-in palette of ten colors.

  • The mixed chart option only works with the Bar (vertical) chart type.

  • For visitors who ask their device for reduced motion, the chart is drawn without animation.

Questions and answers

How do I format the CSV?

The first row has a corner cell and then the dataset names. Every next row starts with the label, followed by one value per dataset.

Can I give each pie slice its own color?

Yes. Enter colors separated by commas in Slice Colors (pie, doughnut, polar), one per label. Slices without a color use the built-in palette.

Can I combine bars and a line in one chart?

Yes. Choose Bar (vertical) and turn on Draw as a Line (mixed chart) for the dataset that should be a line.

Are the charts readable by screen readers?

Each chart comes with a hidden table that holds the same labels and values, and the chart itself is labeled with its title.
