Testimonial Carousel Free

How to set up and style the Testimonial Carousel widget in Elementor.

Testimonial Carousel shows customer reviews as slides with the quote, a star rating, and the name, title and photo of the person. It uses native CSS scroll snap, so no slider library is loaded. Use it to show social proof on home, service and landing pages.

Part of: Bright Addons (free).

Set it up

  1. Drag Testimonial Carousel from the Bright Addons category onto the page.

  2. In Testimonials, open each item in Items and fill in Testimonial, Name, Title or Company, Photo and Rating.

  3. Choose the Layout (Card or Speech bubble) and switch Quote Icon and Star Rating on or off.

  4. In Carousel Settings, set Slides Per View and Gap for each device.

  5. Set Autoplay, Autoplay Delay (ms), Pause on Hover, Rewind at End, Arrows and Dots.

  6. Open the Style tab to set the card, text, photo, star and navigation styles.

Style options

These sections are in the Style tab.

  • Card

background color, padding, border, border radius and box shadow.

  • Text

color and typography for the testimonial, the name and the title or company.

  • Photo, Stars and Quote

photo size and radius, star color, empty star color, star size and quote icon color.

  • Arrows and Dots

arrow size, icon color and background with hover versions, dot color, active dot color and the space above the dots.

Tips

  • The photo always loads at the thumbnail image size, so a small square image works best.

  • Clear the Rating field on an item to hide the stars for that one testimonial.

  • Dots are built from the number of scroll positions, so fewer dots show when more slides are visible at once.

  • With Rewind at End off, autoplay stops when it reaches the last slide.

Questions and answers

Does it load a slider library?

No. The carousel is built on native CSS scroll snap with a small script for arrows, dots, autoplay and keyboard control.

Can visitors swipe on a phone?

Yes. The slides sit in a native scrolling track, so touch swiping works and each slide snaps into place.

Can I show half stars?

Yes. Rating accepts steps of 0.5, so 4.5 fills four and a half stars.

Does autoplay stop when someone reads a review?

With Pause on Hover on, it pauses under the mouse. It also pauses while keyboard focus is inside the carousel.
